Closing date:
23 Jul 2012 The purpose of the work is to provide Zero Waste Scotland with a full training package, including variations on a bespoke suite of materials, and delivery of workshops suitable for training of industry advisors in the Hospitality, Tourism and Events (HT&E) sector and other relevant groups as specified below.
This project will provide the design and delivery of training workshops and materials suitable for named groups as below:
- Visit Scotland Quality Tourism Advisors.
This package will include training sessions (perhaps as one-to-many workshop sessions) and suite of literature to be used throughout training and for future reference.
- Zero Waste Scotland Staff. One-off workshop at suitable location, output is for the trained staff to be sufficiently briefed to allow them to talk proficiently about the work being undertaken by Zero Waste Scotland within the Hospitality, Tourism and Events Sector, to be able to promote the Hospitality and Food Service Voluntary Agreement and have knowledge of the implications for the sector of the Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012.
- Series of advisory workshops throughout Scotland to, as yet unconfirmed groups that may benefit from this training. This would involve work with organisations such as Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Tourist Alliance and the British Hospitality Association.
