31 Jul 2012 WRAP wish to commission trials into techniques for the recovery of critical raw materials from waste electronics during the treatment process.
It is know that critical materials are lost during the WEEE shredding process and dispersed amongst the other major material streams. This work is targeted at WEEE treatment operators who would like to trial techniques for material recovery. This may either be a new technique, an improvement to the efficiency of a current process or the scale up of a recovery technique.
